AeroSpot is designed as a mobile-first experience and will be available exclusively on iOS and Android. This allows us to deliver the best spotting experience with features like camera integration and offline logging.
Yes! AeroSpot will work offline. You'll be able to log sightings, add photos, and take notes without an internet connection. Your data will automatically sync when you're back online.

AeroSpot offers four subscription tiers (all prices in AUD):

  • Free — Start Spotting with Oceania region access, live arrivals/departures, and basic competitions (ads enabled)
  • Pro ($A4.99/month) — No ads, faster refresh, enhanced data, Oceania Tier 1 + Tier 2 airports
  • Premium ($A9.99/month or $A99.99/year) — Full Oceania Access with Live Position, On-the-Ground view, priority API, all airports
  • Global Premium ($A149.00/year) — All regions as they go live. Oceania launching first; Asia, Europe, North America coming soon after

Regional Add-Ons let Pro and Premium subscribers unlock additional regions beyond Oceania at $A19.99 per region per year. Available regions include:

  • Oceania — Australia (AU), New Zealand (NZ), Fiji (FJ)
  • Asia — 13 countries including Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Taiwan
  • Europe — 31 countries including UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, and more
  • North America — United States (US), Canada (CA), Mexico (MX)

If you want access to multiple regions, Global Premium ($A149.00/year) may be better value.

Subscriptions (Free, Pro, Premium, Global Premium) determine your feature access — things like ads, refresh speed, Live Position, and API priority.

Regional Add-Ons expand your geographic coverage. Pro and Premium users start with Oceania access and can purchase additional regions at $A19.99/year each.

Global Premium subscribers get all regions automatically as they become available at no extra cost.

At launch, AeroSpot will support the Oceania region covering Australia (AU), New Zealand (NZ), and Fiji (FJ). Major airports include Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and more.

AeroSpot uses real-time flight data powered by FlightRadar24, one of the world's most trusted flight tracking services. This ensures accurate and up-to-date arrival and departure information.
Our AI-powered identification analyzes photos you take to help identify aircraft types and liveries automatically. Simply snap a photo and AeroSpot will suggest the aircraft type, making logging faster and easier.
Yes, Premium subscribers can export their complete spotting data. This allows you to keep a backup or use your data in other applications.

  • Live aircraft positions come from Flightradar24.
  • Aircraft details (model, age, manufacturer, airline fleet lists) come from certified aviation databases.
  • Airline route networks and airport connectivity are sourced from global route providers.

This combination allows AeroSpot to deliver accurate, real-time aircraft tracking along with rich aircraft and route information. No user data is ever shared with third parties.
